As you can see be comparing these two pictures the water in Lake Ontario is very high. Also bare in mind that in 2017 we also suffered from high flood waters and the water level in Lake Ontario has not gone down from those early spring storms of 2017. But these 2 picture certainly give you an idea of what the water level was like.

As the sun started to set there was this mist / fog that came out of almost no where. as you can see this is a photo of the Toronto Skyline. Believe it or not this was the last photo that we were able to take of the skyline. It was complete blocked out and it became dark very fast. The weather changes fast these days.
July 17th 2019 (Copy)
This is a long exposure photo. It may seem like there is a lot of light but it was really difficult because if was so dark. The Fog / Mist came in really thick. As you can see the water level has really declined at this point.
July 17th 2019 (Copy)
This is a view of the Skyline from the ferry on the way back to mainland Toronto. We were in between the islands and Mainland Toronto before we could clearly see anything. In this picture you can see that the Mist/ Fog is still hovering over the skyline.
