Two Decades of Seeing (2006–2026)
This year marks 20 years of photography shared on Flickr.
Two Decades of Seeing is a personal retrospective bringing together selected photographs from 2006 through 2026 — images shaped by walking, wandering, and paying attention. Over time, the act of looking becomes quieter and more intentional: light noticed sooner, familiar places revisited, small changes carrying more weight.
Many of these photographs were captured in Toronto, returning again and again to familiar streets, parks, and neighbourhoods as they shifted — and as I did too. Others come from new places, travels, and moments of departure, widening the frame over time.
Some images stand out as clear highlights; others are quieter, held moments that take time to reveal their meaning.
This project looks back with care, bringing together images that still hold something about place, memory, and the way seeing deepens over time.
New posts will be added gradually, each one part of a longer conversation between then and now.
Thank you for being here.
